Our self-resetting protectors continuously monitor the incoming line voltage. Using a high-speed microprocessor, they detect voltage spikes or drops instantly. If the voltage exceeds or falls below the pre-set threshold, the device disconnects the circuit within <0.1 seconds. These Type 2 (T2) SPDs utilize high-energy Metal Oxide Varistors (MOVs) paired with Gas Discharge Tubes (GDTs). With a maximum discharge capacity ($I_{max}$) of 40kA, they safely divert transient lightning currents to the ground, clamping the voltage to a level ($U_p$) that is safe for the inverter's internal electronics.
